The bold red 'framed' forms that encapsulate each apartment stemmed from the idea of expressing art through frames. These sharp frames form cantilevered balconies overhang Cambridge Terrace, standing tall and proud amongst the current streetscape.
Functionally, they capture as much natural light for each adjoining apartment as possible. Each of the frames is positioned to capture either the morning, midday, or afternoon sun.
The first floor is being converted from offices to five high-quality, one to two bedroom apartments. Three of these include the red-framed balconies seen from Cambridge Terrace. The ground floor revamp consists of a commercial space and a café. It is intended to appear open, and better connected to Cambridge Terrace than the previous commercial space.
